An Eyeliner That Lasts On The Waterline – Really

When I first became an Avon representative, I knew one of the first products I had to try – Avon Supershock Gel Eyeliner Pencil. I freely admit I was attracted to it because I always saw the Pixiwoo girls using it in their videos!

Supershock Gel Eyeliner Pencils come in 5 shades – Blackout, Cobalt, Aqua Pop, Intense Brown, and Plumful. I got the shade Blackout, which is a very intense black. I got this pencil specifically to use on the waterline, and I expected it to be pretty soft.

It’s VERY soft. The tip doesn’t stay sharp for very long at all. Here it is after 2 uses:

As you can see, it’s quite black! The smears are because the tip was pretty dull when I tried to use it for this purpose. The pencil is very, very soft. It truly is a gel pencil. Because of the softness it goes on to the waterline very easily and comfortably with absolutely no tugging whatsoever. It goes on smooth and it goes on very black. This is definitely going to be one of those pencils you need to stick in the freezer for a few minutes before you sharpen it or you will get a smushy mess in the sharpener.

So far it would seem like this liner is no good. Well, you’d be wrong. Yes, it’s kind of a pain because it’s so soft, but let me tell you what I love about this liner.

I snapped this picture as I was removing my makeup at the end of the night. The eyeliner is still on my waterline. I’d been wearing this eyeliner for no less than 15 hours when this picture was taken.

Anything bad I could possibly have to say about this liner goes OUT THE WINDOW when you get 15 hours of wear. On the waterline you’re lucky to get AN HOUR.

Yes it’s soft.
Yes it goes dull easily.
Yes you’ll have to sharpen it often.
Yes that means you’ll probably have to replace it often.
BUT IT WEARS FOREVER.
