ELF Mineral Eye Primer

This little baby has been getting a lot of love on various forums, etc. from people claiming it’s better than Urban Decay Primer Potion.
Say what?

Yeah, I know. Crazy!

So I decided I had to see what this was all about. I applied it under some neutral mineral eyeshadows to test it the first time on Sunday. It performed beautifully! I must say, I am impressed for $3.

However, I wore it with a dark smoky eye yesterday and while it didn’t crease at all, it did fade really badly. Generally eyeshadows do not fade with Urban Decay’s primer on me. However, your mileage may vary. Personally I prefer the UD still.

I do appreciate that the packaging is plain and easy (sorry UD, I still do not like the genie bottle) and that ELF’s product is really cheap. But…will this be carried at Target? That would be a huge win over UD since that means it’s really accessible. UD will probably always be the best in this arena though. I just can’t think of anything better.
