The Stila Warehouse Sale is BACK!
When: Dec 5th, 8am – 3pm

Tips from a Stila Warehouse Sale veteran…
– Get there EARLY. There will be a line at the door before 8 am. Might be wise to bring an ipod or something to read as you may be waiting a while. They typically only allow a group into the sale at a time so it isn’t chaos.
– Wear sunscreen. Even though it’s December, if you’re standing around outside on a sunny day you can get burned.
– Bring breakfast. Stop at Starbucks first, get something warm, and sit tight. Sucker in Bring a friend to keep you company.
– Do not bring your giant purse. In fact, don’t bring any purse. Stuff your necessary cash or plastic into a pocket. Purses aren’t allowed inside.
– When offered, do take a plastic bag.
– Do not push, shove, kick, bite, pull hair of, scratch, etc. other people to get the makeup you want. :)
– Be nice to the Stila staffers (especially the guy at the door!); it’s a really long day for them!
What I Have Seen in the Past…
– Special sale-only bundles for great prices
– Brushes at ridiculous discounts ($5 each…? yes please.)
– Palettes at amazing discounts, including discontinued palettes.
– Gift sets
– Perfumes
– Eyeshadow pans
– Blush pans
– Lip glazes
…and much more. :) Yes some of the things are discontinued items, and other things are recent items.

The CONTAINER STORE (*chorus of angels*) still has their 20% off code: SAVENOW. Works on everything. Go buy cute organizational stuff.

ULTA has FREE SHIPPING on $25 or more with the code 37202. OR you can get 20% off one item with code 27249. They are also including some things that are usually excluded, like CARGO and Bare Minerals. I totally have my eye on the Bare Minerals Matte Complexion Kit, which is a heck of a lot better deal than the Matte kit Sephora has. Sephora’s kit is the foundation + a kabuki for $28. This kit is foundation, mineral veil, brush, and moisturizer for $30. Bonjour!

And finally, CherryCulture has 20% off their entire store with the code NS20. It only goes through Nov. 3rd though, so don’t dilly dally. Stuff tends to sell out during these sales. Shipping is always free over $40.

Later this week (Wednesday to be exact), Beauty.com’s Friends & Family (20% off) sale will start. Best fo subscribe to their email newsletter now to make sure you get the email with the link. Looks like the only brand excluded is Jane Iredale.

99 Cent Store Haul

If you have a 99 Cent Only store near by, you may want to check and see if they have any L’Oreal HiP paints. I spied a huge bin of them at mine. These retailed for $8 or $9 each and I got 3 for $3. The color I chose were Steely, Nervy, and Lofty. My buddy Kristina swatched all of these on her blog, Sasquatch Swatch. Check ’em out!

Obligatory Sephora Sale Post

EDIT: I am now receiving information that the sale WILL BE VALID IN STORES. You just need to bring the email print-out from Sephora. I have not received mine yet, but I imagine you could get a friend to forward it if need be. :) I will if I get desperate, but I’m not even sure I will be buying anything.

Lol, I think every beauty blogger in the blogosphere will be posting about Sephora’s Friends & Family Sale, but even still I feel I would be remiss in letting it go unmentioned here. It’s Kind of A Big Deal in the beauty fanatic’s world. For many brands (ex: Dior, Guerlain, Clarisonic, T3, GHD) it’s an opportunity to get something on sale that rarely goes on sale anywhere else.

For those of you who are new to the Sephora F&F sale, it is simply a code for their site that will get you 20% off your purchase. This year’s code is FF2009. You can enter it at check out. It is good starting today and ending November 2nd, midnight PST.

Their free shipping offer with any purchase $50 or more still applies with no code necessary, and it’s applicable pre-discount (so if you buy an item that is $50, and the code takes the amt down to $40, you still get free shipping) and sales tax is applied after discount (so you’d pay tax on $40 unless you live in one of those states like Oregon that has no sales tax in which case poo on you, I’m really jealous, etc.).

Anyone can use this code online as many times as they like. As long as you live in the U.S. Or live outside the U.S. but have a U.S. address you can ship to. *cough* Did you hear that from me? I don’t know. =X Actually, I’m not sure if it’ll work with a non-U.S. credit card, so don’t quote me on that either.

You can return purchases made during F&F. However, if you exchange an item you will not receive 20% off the price of the item you are exchanging for. I think the exception to this is an even exchange, like if you bought something and it arrived smashed to hell and you just want a replacement. The only thing the discount won’t apply to is the purchase of gift cards. You can use gift cards to pay for your F&F purchases though.

Last but not least, for goodness’ sake remember to use one of those cashback online rebate sites. You can use Ebates, Mr. Rebates, or Bing Cash Back. I think Fat Wallet works too. Some people have had luck getting their Bing Cash Back rewards and their Ebates rewards– double cash back! :)

Special Purely Cosmetics Sale Event!

Hey everyone…

Robyn @ Purely Cosmetics is having a super fun sale event to celebrate her birthday on 8/27! Rather than just have a coupon code or whatever, she’s doing it like a Woot-Off. For those of you who don’t know what a Woot-Off is, here’s her explanation:

Trying to come up with something new and different, I’m stealing from Woot, and having a sale similar to a Woot-Off. I’ll randomly put things on sale – they will all have something to do with 50 (50% off, buy something, get something else free, etc). MAC Friends & Family Sale 09 Confirmed

The news you’ve all been waiting for, fellow MAC-addicts! The MAC Friends & Family sale has been confirmed for the 16th through the 18th of this month. The discount will be 20%. I do not yet have the code, but I’ll post it when I do. :) Last year I think it was online only. No word on if there’s any difference this year.
