Miley Cyrus for MAC Viva Glam 2015

Viva Glam

It’s official: the new face of MAC’s Viva Glam campaign for 2015 is none other than Miley Cyrus! For those of you unfamiliar with Viva Glam, it is a series of lipsticks and lip glosses released to benefit the MAC World AIDS Fund. The best part of the Viva Glam campaign is that every cent of the selling price of Viva Glam items goes to helping women and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Unlike other charity makeup items that donate only 1-5%, MAC really puts its money up for the cause. True story, MAC Viva Glam V is one of my favorite lip colors of all time.

This release includes 2 items – a lipstick and a lip gloss. I’m really interested in that lipstick! How do they look to you?

MAC Viva Glam Miley launches January 2015 at all MAC stores, counters, and online.

MAC Fall 2010 Viva Glam From Our Lips

Our favorite Viva Glam ladies, Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga are back this fall, and this time they brought lipgloss. Fall’s Viva Glam launch includes the two stunning Viva Glam lipstick shades, two lip makeup bags, and now two accompanying gloss shades to complement the lipsticks. This launches September 2nd and will be available through February ’11.

As always, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the Viva Glam collection goes to the MAC Aids Fund. Remember also that Viva Glam items are not part of the Back 2 MAC program. In other words, you can’t get one as your freebie. You can recycle old Viva Glam stuff to get new freebies though.
I’m so excited for the Cyndi lipglass. Cyndi is one of my favorite MAC lipsticks. Do not be intimidated by the bright shade! This lipstick is very wearable and frankly, I haven’t seen it look bad on anyone ever. Gaga, while also pretty (I love pinks!) is a little hard to wear in lipstick form. Perhaps the gloss will be a good answer to anyone who was frustrated with the lipstick.
