Prescriptives will be debuting a new foundation tomorrow (June 18th) on QVC. It is called All Skins Mineral Makeup 16-Hour Wear with SPF 10. Long name! It’s a liquid mineral foundation in a tube (which I like– fairly sanitary).
Prescriptives describes it…
The lightweight formula is infused with vitamins, minerals, and gems to give skin pure, natural coverage and a radiant finish.
Sounds pretty luxe. ;) I love that more brands are combining the ease of liquid foundation with skin-friendly minerals! The foundation and a new color kit will be introduced by Prescriptives Director of Artistry Jillian Veran.
A little sleuthing (heehee) tells me that the foundation will be sold in a set with a foundation brush at an introductory price of $44.16. Now, I know that Prescriptives is good stuff and that their brushes are really nice, but even still it’d be kind of hard for me to make the leap of faith and shell out over $40 plus shipping for this. Another thing– it only comes in six shades. Prescriptives is perhaps best known for its huge shade range in foundations, so I am disappointed to see only six. For pictures of each shade, visit QVC. The shade pictured above is the lightest, “Fair”. There is already at least one review that says she had a difficult time finding a match because this product runs warm.
