Shade Range: Excellent. Px is the brand to go to if you are difficult to match. I use Camellia. For reference, other foundations that match me are Fyrinnae Opal, Alima C-0, Stila 10-watt/shade a, Everyday Minerals Fair, and Estee Lauder Doublewear Shell.
Coverage: Buildable up to full coverage. I dot this on areas I need coverage and then blend it with a foundation brush. Sometimes I swipe the stick directly with the brush, too. It covers blemishes really well and also keeps my skintone really even (it has a tendency to get a little red sometimes).
Feel/Texture/Finish: It’s really light on. I forget I’m wearing makeup, even. The stick has a creamy consistency but unlike cream foundations it does not cake up or look greasy and gross on my normal to oily skin. The coverage to lightness ratio is amazing. It feels so light and yet covers so well. It’s matte but not dead-matte. Very natural finish.
Wear/Lasting Power: As I mentioned before it does NOT get cakey even as midday oilies rear their shiny heads. Lasts all day.
Final Comments: I freakin love these things. I like that you get 2 (one for your bag, one for your stash) for the price. It’s kind of spendy at $36 w/ tax but for a good foundation like this I think it’s totally worth it. I didn’t have a problem paying $32 for my doublewear and this wears a lot more naturally for days I don’t want to look too made up. Would definitely repurchase. One note is that while the SA set me w/ powder when I tested it out, I found it’s not always necessary to set it with powder. I spritz with Fix+ and I’m good to go.
